Sloth young inherit a portion of the home range left vacant by its mother, as well as her taste for certain leaves. Several sloths can live in a similar home range without competing for food or space.

Fierce

Fun fact of the day…

Owls are powerful birds and fiercely protective parents. They have even been known to attack humans who wander too close to their young.

White owls

Fun fact of the day…

Young snowy owls, especially males, get whiter as they get older. Females are darker than males, with dusky spotting, and never become totally white. Some elderly males do become completely white, though many retain small flecks of dusky plumage.

Meerkat

Fun fact of the day…

Female meerkats give birth to two to four young each year in one of the group’s burrows. Fathers and siblings help to raise meerkat young, teaching them to play and forage and alerting them to the ever present danger from above.

I would ID you.

I think if I ever worked in a liquor store or a bar I would make sure to ID everyone. It seems to make people feel good about themselves when they are ID’d. They feel younger and I would love to make people feel better about themselves! So everyone out there who works in a bar anything like that, maybe just ID someone you normally wouldn’t, I bet it would make their night.
